illywhacker presents 'False Promises' Ep.004

Here it is, Episode 004 in my False Promises series of podcasts/DJ mixes. This mix was meant to be delayed; I had planned to be in the French Alps snowboarding this week, hence the mountainous artwork. As we are all aware, the current pandemic meant that my trip was cancelled, so you lucky people get to hear the episode right on time, as per the usual schedule (final Friday of each month)!

This month’s edition features plenty of progressive and melodic house/melodic techno. I was planning a playlist of tunes to listen to whilst up on the mountain, and, to me, this selection of music would have been perfect for my time spent in the most beautiful place, up in the clouds surrounded by snow! The show starts with atmospheric and uplifting vibes, before descending into slightly murkier depths once we reach the halfway point. As per usual, the energy continues to build all the way until the end, though I decided to end the episode with one of the greatest euphoric tracks I’ve heard in recent times.
