illywhacker presents 'False Promises' Ep.005

This month’s episode features music mostly from a genre that I’ve really fallen in love with over the last year or two, Afro House and Tribal House music. As you can probably guess, the origins of these genres are found in Africa, with South African artists, producers and DJs seemingly leading the charge in the emergence of these genres across the planet. As such, you can expect this episode to feature plenty of percussion, complex rhythms and instrumentation/vocals inspired by, or, straight out of Africa.

The episode contains quite a few vibes and emotions, I’m sure there’s a going to be a tune or two in here that caters to most peoples tastes in electronic dance music. As always though, the energy and tempo steadily increase as the episode progresses through the hour!
