Episode 008! This month's edition of the False Promises mix series takes a more mellow approach when compared to the previous energetic and intense episodes, 006 and 007.
The first half of the episode features House music that's more on the deep and progressive side; the second half of the mix is slightly more melodic in nature. Near enough every track features some sort of vocal, so this episode is great if you prefer to listen to dance music that you can sing along to! I would say this episode is the most beautiful sounding mix I've created under my illywhacker guise so far. Lots of emotion packed into the majority of these records!
For me, this is driving music! I would throw this mix on if I was embarking on a road trip for sure, hence the artwork! However, it's equally suited to those days spent in the sun, or moments of solitude.
