Week 10! Buckle in, this one's a bit of a banger! Let's begin...

We're having a throwback this week, the almighty, classic dance track 'Warrior' is this weeks tune of the week! Originally created by the artist that goes under the name of... errrr... Warrior. However, the TOTW isn't the original mix, it is in fact the more modern reimagining by Trance music legend, Mark Sherry!

The Mark Sherry remix was released in 2018; a much more up to date version than the original that was released back in the year 2000. I feel old for the fact that I first heard the original back when I was like 11 or 12, not long after it first came out and I'm only 29!

I always loved the original version of Warrior; I only discovered Mark Sherry's remix when looking for a copy of the original to buy for my first False Promises episode, so about four months ago! Mark did a great job of not straying too far from the sound and style of the original version; I've heard many remixes of classic tracks that have been butchered and are almost unrecognisable from the original versions! Mark hit the nail on the head though, and tastefully brought a dance music classic up to date with his production skills.

Some of you may recognise the name, Mark Sherry, it could be down to the fact he was part of the dance music group called Public Domain. Those who are fans of the 'Blade' series of films will recognise their track from the nightclub scene where blood was spraying out of the water sprinklers! I think it was the very first Blade film, I could be wrong though! That track was called 'Operation Blade', I'll put a bonus link to that track too, to jog your memory!

Those of you who are paying attention will realise that Mark's remix didn't make it into any of my False Promises episodes yet, but it will do... soon.

I'm struggling to find an 'official' video on YouTube, so this unofficial upload will have to do. Skip the first minute if you get bored, that's the DJ friendly intro and not a lot happens in the first minute!
