illywhacker - Smokin' Aces - Week 3

Week 3! This week I'm sharing something that's helped distract me from the cold and gloomy weather here in the UK, though, with Australia's recent troubles, I shouldn't really complain about our weather. Thankfully they've finally had rain to help ease their troubles with the bush fires! I digress, this awesome production I'm about to share with you is the perfect remedy for those winter blues! It'll brighten your mood and transport your mind to warmer, blue-skied times. If you're listening/reading from an already warm and blue-skied climate, then this track will surely be the perfect fit for your day! It's also a great addition to your pre-drinks playlist if you're preparing for a night out, it'll get those party vibes flowing for sure!

The track in question is titled 'I Want Your Attention'. It comes from the super-talented American artist, Moon Boots; the angelic and airy vocals are provided by the equally talented, classically trained artist, Fiora. I've known Fiora's work from plenty of trance records in the past decade; I first discovered her in the early 2010s and she's featured on many dance and trance hits since! Simply search for her on your favourite streaming service to find more of her awesome work!

Moon Boots, on the other hand, is a more recent discovery of mine. I think I first discovered his music between the years of 2015-16, when he secured a release one of my favourite labels Anjunadeep. Moon Boots has really nailed the deep house and disco styles that feature throughout his album 'First Landing', which is where this week's track can be found. Much like my tune of the week, the entire album is also well-produced, clean, warm sounding and funky in many places!
